This ~15 km + loop at Empire 47 showcases the smooth, machine-sculpted flow that has made the area a favorite among riders of all levels. Expect a steady mix of climbing and descending (around 400–450 m of elevation), with playful berms, rollers, and forested singletrack that reward momentum and finesse. Ride 2: Kraken, Neilson.

Duration6 hrs +

For many, this is one of the favorite days of the Quebec circuit. The value of bike in bike out from our mountain lodge adds a dimension of remoteness and authenticity. Start your day with coffee on the porch overlooking the mountains, followed by breakfast prepared by your guides. No shuttle today; just pure mountain biking in the middle of the Shanahan area.

We'll be riding the Gravity, Neilson, sectors all in one day. Be ready for a long day... Over 35 km of single-track riding, with over 1,000 meters of elevation gain, all in a glacier valley with numerous waterfalls and rivers.

Let's finish the day with an after-ride beer from a local Saint-Raymond microbrewery and a campfire. BBQ salmon dinner under the stars. Thanks to our private mountain lodge, Villa Éco.

Day 3

2 destinations, Legend and SDM summit 1

Stone & Craft @ SDM

general icon

The luxury of two destinations in the same day

We begin the morning in the Vallée Bras-du-Nord (Secteur Shannahan) for a ride on La Légende. This trail is a masterpiece of backcountry flow, winding through lush forests and ancient rock formations. It offers a perfect balance of immersion in nature and high-quality trail craftsmanship, providing a legendary start to our day.

We transition and stop for a lunch en route to SDM

Our afternoon is dedicated to the Sommet 1 sector, where the terrain becomes more tactical and the granite more imposing. We will drop into Mammouth, a trail famous for its massive, grippy rock slabs and bold lines, before linking into Super G for a high-speed, technical descent. These trails represent the gold standard of modern enduro—blending natural stone features with expertly sculpted flow.

Entourage sur le Lac Resort

Mountain biking is great, but lakeside living is also very enjoyable. We'll be staying here on the shores of Lac-Beauport, a stone's throw from Sentiers du Moulin, for the next two nights.

Ride 4: Carved in Granite – Cathedral – Slab City & Saga Loop

Duration4+ hrs

After enjoying breakfast with a beautiful view of the lake, we take a 7 minutes shuttle to SDM. This ride delivers one of the most technical and rewarding routes of the trip. Starting with the steady climb up Tourbillon, we’ll gain elevation on smooth, natural terrain before linking into Cathedral, Crête du Lynx , Slab City and Saga—four masterfully built trails that wind through porous granite outcrops and sculpted forest lines. Expect tight switchbacks, exposed lines, rock features, and narrow singletrack that demand both precision and confidence. This compact ~11 km loop is a tribute to exceptional trailbuilding, blending natural stone flow with expert craftsmanship for a truly unforgettable ride. And for those who still have plenty of energy, we could head back to the summit and finish with Wolverine, a very technical double black trail.

Day 5

Mont Sainte-Anne

Legendary Mont-Sainte-Anne

Ride 5: Discover the legendary old school, almost infinite MSA trail network

Duration5 hrs

Your guide will pick you up directly at your hotel and travel to Mont Sainte-Anne, a 45 minutes drive from your hotel.

As usual, your guide will have lunches ready for you to take on the trails.

Mont Sainte-Anne hosted the 30th edition of the UCI World Cup in 2025. It was legendary—and we certainly hope it won't be the last. This is where mountain biking began in Quebec, and we'll explore the backcountry's old-school network. And why not take a ski lift for one descent from the summit? Exceptional views of the St. Lawrence River and the Laurentian Plateau to the north.
